First Aid in Herbology is an incredibly important subject to be knowledgeable in, as applying proper antidotes in dire situations can make the difference between life and death.
While some plants can cause only mild wounds, there are some that can cause death or very extreme damage.

First Aid For Plants (From Dangerous To Mild):
The Mandrake: Earmuffs are to worn at all times when dealing with Mandrakes, as their screams can cause death with is irreversible. However, if one comes into contact with a Mandrake without wearing dragon-hide gloves, they may slip into a coma. Should this happen, wash the spot of contact immediately and send for a trained healer to administer a tandisu injection.
Devil's Snare: This plant has no adverse effects from handling it, however when captured by the plant it can choke and kill the person, if they can't or don't know how to fight off the plant. If the person has been freed and is not dead, treat for strangulation and suffocation. Rennervate, a reviving spell, is useful. If the person is choking on their own tongue, use Anapneo.
Bubotuber: The pus from this plant is highly corrosive, and should any touch skin, cleanse the wound for five minutes under clean, cold water, before applying Dittany. If the pain becomes too much, a potion can also be taken.
Venomous Tentacula: Known as the killer of Prof. McGonagall's husband, this plant expels venom from it's shoots and it's spikes are deadly. It's bite is highly poisonous and can prove fatal. Due to their high toxicity, being near a certified healer is mandatory when dealing with this plant. Earmuffs, closed toe shoes, and even a mask are highly recommended when dealing with this plant to minimize damage done.
Aconite: This plant is highly toxic, often used as poison in animal bait, and known for being used on arrows when hunting wolves in medieval Europe. Dragon-hide gloves are mandatory when dealing with this plant, as touching the plant's leaves can cause symptoms to appear. Once the first symptoms appear - burning, tingling, numbness - immediately apply Dittany. Antropine is an effective antidote to Aconite, but only when applied immediately. Ingesting the plant is extremely dangerous as high dosages can cause almost instantaneous death; in lower dosages, death usually occurs within two to six hours, Dittany can be used here, as well, to curb the more debilitating symptoms. No matter the dosage, the victim must go to St. Mungo's as soon as they can, as the healers there will be fully able to handle the care.
Snargaluff: A plant with the appearance of a gnarled stump, this plant is notorious for being tricky to deal with, as well as being a man-eating carnivorous plant. It has thorn-covered vines that attack when provoked and contains green pulsating pods that can be extracted. This plant behaves similar to Devil's Snare in that it's danger comes from it's vines that can strangle or choke the victim. Therefore, the same first aid process applies here, with Dittany added as a thorn wound healer.
Fanged Geranium: Known for their razor sharp teeth, these plants often bite or attack if not taken care of. The simple remedy is to take care of it, but if it ends up biting, Dittany can heal most of the bites it can inflict.
Alihosty: Ingesting the leaves of the plant can induce hysteria and uncontrollable laughter. Glumbumble treacle acts as an antidote to the effects of the leaves.
Mimbulus Mimbletonia: When prodded, this plant squirts out Stinksap from the boils that reside on the surface of the plant. While Stinksap is non-poisonous, it is described as smelling like "rancid manure" and thus a simple cleaning spell and perhaps a long bath may be administered.
